Lakewood Chevrolet wants to help you purchase or finance a new 2012 or 2013 Chevrolet truck through the GM Cash for Clunkers Program!
The following provides information on the customer eligibility requirements for this program:
- GM will provide an incentive of up to $3,000 towards the purchase/finance/lease of an eligible 2012 or 2013 model year Chevrolet pickup truck for particpants retiring their vehicle under the program guidlines.
- Vehicles eligible for recycling will now be 2006 model year and older.
- Customers must demonstrate proof of ownership/registration or proof of insurance. You must supply your proof of ownership has lasted for a minimum of 3 months.
- Vehicles retired under the program must be running condition and complete(no parts missing).
- The incentive is model dependent and based on the vehicle that the eligible customer is purchasing, not the vehicle the customer is ‘retiring’.

Regular Cab 1500: $1,500
Extended Cab 1500: $2,000
Crew Cab 1500: $2,500
Avalanche: $2,500
HD Trucks(Reg, Ext, Crew): $3,000
